In this role, you will collaborate with talented developers across Japan, India, and China to ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of our solutions. You will play a key part in driving innovation and maintaining the high standards of our products. Responsibilities: API Development: Design, develop, and maintain payment gateway APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and security. Collaboration: Work with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. Project Management: Plan, prioritize, and manage development tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve team productivity. |

Required Skills: 7+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot. Proficiency with SQL databases, particularly Aurora/MySQL. Proven track record of designing and developing scalable and secure APIs. Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills: Experience with payment gateway integrations and financial technologies. Experience with Agile management and Scrum master roles. Experience with data collection and AI for predicting application issues from logs. Experience with AWS Cloud administration. Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.). Japanese business-level proficiency. |
