As a global leader, we provide a wide range of diverse travel products to a wide range of customers, while also taking into consideration the effective use of local tourism resources and the impact on the global environment and local communities, and providing a variety of adventures where travelers can coexist with local culture. ■Job Description You will be responsible for purchasing and arranging reservations for trips to Japan in response to the requests of Intrepid Group and other tour customers. [Specific Job Description] 1. Reservation Arrangements You will be responsible for arranging reservations (including annual reservations) for accommodations and activities for travel products planned by our company. In preparation for the tour, we will ensure that reservations are confirmed through communication with each agent (checking customer information*) and affiliated companies (accommodation and activities). ※Communication with agents will be via email in English. 2. Reservation follow-up and support If it is difficult to make reservations or the budget is not met, we will evaluate and propose alternatives that do not damage the value of the product. Working with the sales and operations departments, you will find the best solution. ③ Developing new businesses and building relationships with partner businesses In addition to developing new accommodations and activities that meet Intrepid's standards, you will also work to build good relationships with existing partner businesses. Appropriate and accurate budget adjustments are also part of your job. 9:00-18:00 (prescribed working hours: 8 hours, break: 60 minutes) *As the Intrepid Group, we have implemented flexible working to suit each individual. (This is different from the traditional flextime system in Japan. Currently, employees come to the office two days a week and work remotely three days a week.) |
Job Requirements |
[Required qualifications] ・Experience working in the Japanese travel or tourism industry (experience in making reservations is a plus) ・English and Japanese proficiency necessary for conversation and writing (Japanese: fluent, English: daily conversation level) ・Computer processing ability, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, E-mail) [Desired qualifications] ・Qualified general travel agency manager ・Experience in operations (tour operation management, guide management) ・Experience as a tour guide or tour conductor [Ideal personality] ・Able to adjust plans within the organization and manage time, and can efficiently adjust their own workload ・Able to notice small details and have the attention to detail to complete tasks without mistakes within the deadline ・Able to think from the customer's perspective and make rational decisions ・Able to work while communicating closely with members inside and outside the company ・Able to make proactive proposals such as improving operation flows and developing new business |
