We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to join our team in Japan. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HR processes and will involve working closely with various departments to support our employees and maintain a positive work environment.

[Job Description]

- Promote and manage company policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Comply with laws such as the Labor Standards Act.

- Manage and ensure smooth procedures, HR operations, and daily HR management (transfers, salary changes, promotions, dismissals, etc.).

- Maintain regular inputs to HRIS and Workday by managing employee transitions such as recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, promotions, and keeping up-to-date records of all employees.

- Provide and support necessary documents and reports requested by public authorities to ensure the company's compliance with labor and social insurance laws related to all HR issues.

- Respond to labor-related consultations (labor consultations, mental health, various types of leave, etc.).

- Respond to employee inquiries such as payroll, taxes, onboarding procedures, and retirement procedures.

Requirements
【Desired Candidates】

- Bachelor's degree in HR related field or equivalent experience preferred.

- 3+ years of operational experience in HR department of a business (100+ employees) preferred.

- Experience working for a multinational corporation.

- Deep knowledge of Japanese labor law and HR best practices.

- Experience supporting HR integration after M&A activities preferred.

- Fluent in both written and spoken Japanese and English.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

- Experience working with HRIS systems, experience with Workday

- Ability to exercise effective judgment and handle confidential and secret information.
