Job Description ■Job Objectives
This position will focus on managing people, projects, and business process improvements, and will play a key role in providing strong financial support for business growth in Japan.
As a member of the leadership team in Japan, you will also serve as a business partner and trusted advisor to other departments, and will be responsible for providing and explaining financial information necessary and important for corporate activities.
In addition to simply explaining past figures, you will also support the company's sustainable growth by proactively identifying issues with an eye to the future and taking necessary measures.

■Major duties
◆Accounting and finance
• Contribute to the improvement of global financial processes and procedures, and identify and promote local improvements
• Optimize cash management and cash flow
• Monthly and annual closing, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial control implementation
• Compliance with local regulations and group policies, including tax
• Collaboration with global finance team (financial analysis, inventory management, cash management, etc.)

◆Project support
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
• Improve the efficiency of finance and related functions, strengthen controls, and promote improvement through the use of benchmarks

◆Specialized knowledge and skills
• Practical experience in financial reporting based on IFRS or USGAAP
• Experience using financial systems
• Knowledge and practical experience in tax reporting in Japan
• High skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

◆Language skills
• Japanese: Native level or equivalent skills
• English: Reading, writing, and speaking skills at business level or above

◆Desired personality
• Able to respond flexibly to change and carry out multiple tasks in parallel
