Ahead Group are hiring an iOS Developer to join the Personal Finance Service Development Group for one of our E-Commerce Clients. This role will focus on developing and maintaining high-quality iOS applications our clients' financial services, with a focus on creating innovative solutions for our users. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Implement and maintain applications using MVVM architecture. Integrate applications with RESTful APIs. Write unit tests to ensure code robustness and reliability, covering edge cases and usability. Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development process. Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software. |

Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of proven experience in software development and iOS app development. At least 4 years of experience working with Swift. Familiar with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager. Proven track record in iOS app development, having published at least one original iOS application. Solid understanding of Git for version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). Proficient in working with iOS SDK and interacting with remote data via REST and JSON. Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and its application in iOS development. Experience with unit testing frameworks. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools. Comprehensive understanding of the mobile development lifecycle. Desired Skills: Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications. Understanding of Apple’s iOS design principles and interface guidelines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working in a multicultural environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively. Eagerness to stay current with new technologies and methodologies. Japanese reading ability is a plus. |
