[Role Description] At 3forge, we are developing the next generation of hybrid application development platforms. As a 3forge Junior Solutions Engineer, you will be placed in a dynamic environment with state-of-the-art technology and big data use cases, enabling you to develop your skills and learn new technologies. You will be working with complex implementations of fintech applications, and will be involved with many stages of implementation. You will get the opportunity to perform tasks for prestigious clients including technical support and software management, maintenance, testing, and development. [Responsibilities] - Providing technical support to our clients responsively - Installing and maintaining software in varying environments - Representing and working with clients in meetings - Documenting operational requirements, processes etc. - Creating quantitative solutions for real-world use cases - Diagnosing performance and technical issues - Working with engineers and project management to ensure successful projects Our office is located WeWork Hibiya FORT TOWER in Tokyo. We currently have a hybrid work arrangement where Mondays and Fridays are remote working days. This arrangement is subject to work obligations and there may be a requirement to work in our clients office as well. |

[Requirements] - STEM background: Graduated, or graduating soon, with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other relevant fields. - Experienced with SQL and databases systems - Experienced with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C++ - Strong analytical and communication skills: Can effectively understand and discuss technical and business requirements - Familiarity with Unix - Self-motivated to accomplish tasks and projects - Ability to diagnose information from a log file, stack trace, or error messages - Ability to take ownership of issues and autonomously manage them in a responsive environment - The ability to work with a global team - Drive to learn new skills and technologies - Candidate must be able to work in Tokyo without requiring any visa sponsorship - Candidate must be able to speak and write in both English and Japanese at a business level proficiency [Desirable Skills] - Technical writing ability for documentation - Strong mathematical/statistical skills - Entrepreneurial mindset - Excellent communication and problem solving skills |
