Job Description |
Main Purpose of Job: Responsible for the day-to-day office and admin support for the SDI Japan team. In charge of overseeing administrative functions such as diary management, procurement, finance, logistics, senior visits, and event management. The job holder will work closely with our team members in Japan to support trade missions including trade shows & networking receptions and inward investment seminars as well as managing the program for senior visits. What the Jobholder will be Expected to Achieve: Provide general administrative support to the SDI Japan team including office management - implementation and co-ordination of office systems, administrative and financial procedures. Take lead on logistics on senior visits to Japan including updates to the visit programme, booking of hotels, transport, venues and budget. Work closely with Trade and Investment Team to provide administrative and logistics support for trade showcase events and seminars including RSVP management, catering, budget and on the day event execution. Coordinating logistics for SDI Asia Director for Investment Head including hotels, transport and insurance. Provide ad-hoc support to the SDI Japan Team. Working Hours |
4 days per week; 09:00 – 17:30 Job requires occasionally out of hours work (evenings). All staff are compensated by time off in lieu of the additional hours worked. |
Job Requirements |
Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Computer literate with experience of working with Microsoft desktop functions (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer) at a level where you can: create, use and interrogate templates, tables and datasets Desirable qualifications, skills and experience: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and time management skills An ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision |
